Book purchases can be made at that time or parents may visit Children’s Book World store in-person throughout the Book Fair week to purchase books directly. Simply share you are purchasing for New Eagle’s Book Fair. (For those wishing to shop in-person, Children’s Book World is is located at 17 Haverford Station Road, Haverford, PA 19041. Giving Garden and Earth Fest

The Giving Garden is a thriving and abundant garden that produces many pounds of food for the Chester County Food Bank. Each year, students take part in maintaining the garden as part of class time, a great chance to learn more about how our food is grown and used. Parents and families are encouraged to get involved in the planting days and annual Earth Fest (May). The Giving Garden is located at the back of the school, bordering the lower parking lot.
Ice Cream Social

Event is on the Playground behind the school. Please park in the lot, upper circle, upper lawn and down the driveway.
The New Eagle Elementary School Learning Fair is held annually for one week in March. During this week, the Large Group room is filled with hundreds of displays showing off the knowledge of our New Eagle students! What fascinates you? What would you like to learn more about? This is your chance to show off your knowledge on a topic YOU choose—science, sports, math, music, art, history, a hobby—you name it! This is a non-competitive event open to ALL New Eagle Students. Due to allergy concerns, please do not include animals, food, or drink in your display. To enter, just pick a topic to explore by yourself or with a friend, submit an application, and start having fun creating your display! There are many types of displays you can create. A large number of students use some sort of cardboard backdrop, like the standard tri-fold display board found at Staples or Walmart, to present their project. Others create dioramas, set up models or bring in props to add to their display, which could include photos, drawings, and/or text. There are some electrical outlets available should a portion of your project need electricity. View a few examples of past learning fair displays for inspiration.

New Parent Mixer
Chair: Elissa Benedette

This is an opportunity to meet other new parents and guardians, parents who were in your same shoes last year and members of the PTO. All are happy to share their New Eagle experience and answer your questions! If your student is new to New Eagle, this is great way to meet parents in the community and we can always connect you with those that are not there! (Note: Teachers and Administrators will not be at the event).
Parents deserve some fun, too! The New Eagle Parent Social gives parents a night out without the kids and a great opportunity to get to know other parents in the New Eagle community. Come enjoy a night out with friends old and new. Hors d’oeuvres and drinks are included in the ticket price. This event is held in February and sign ups will be communicated through news and the Blast.
